Welcome
Welcome to River Trails Community Church!
We are a brand new church in Northeast Tarrant County that began meeting in January of 2009. It is our desire to plant a church in the River Trails area where people could encounter God and not practice religion - that it be a place where people could connect and share life with one another. It is also our prayer that we would be a people who are passionate about their faith, authentic in their struggles and desperate to become who the Bible says we are.
Since our beginning we have been meeting at Seeker’s Coffee House in Hurst. Seeker’s is located at the corner of Precinct Line and Harwood. We would be honored if you would join us for worship on Sunday mornings a 10:45. We would love an opportunity to get to know you!
Thanks for stopping by!
God’s Design For Relationships
New Series kicking off on February 14th (Yes, we know what day that is!)
One of the most impacting studies of God’s Word I have ever participated in was studying through the book of Song of Solomon. In it, God deals with a subject that greatly impacts all of our lives - that of relationships. Unfortuantely, the Church has largely ignored this book for centuries. I believe this to be because it deals with very personal issues that too many leaders were too uncomfortable to talk about publically. Thankfully, God did not give us the desire to be loved and to love others and leave us with no guidance.
He has given us this book in the middle of the Bible that deals with attraction, courtship, intimacy, marriage, conflict, romance and commitment. I had the incredible privilege to direct Song of Solomon conference with Tommy Nelson that went around the country teaching this powerful truth. After seeing it transform thousands of lives and marriages, I look forward to sharing God’s truth and design for relationships.
Join us at 6:00 on Sunday nights beginning February 14th…just make that Valentine’s reservation for 7:30 or so!
Super Bowl Sunday Gathering
After planning our Christmas Eve service in the park and watching snow and incredible winds move us back indoors, we could only think of one thing. Let’s try it again!
Here we go….we would love to have you join us on Sunday, February 7th at River Trails Park (San Juaquin deadends into it) for a great time of worship. We will begin at 11:45am with a time of worship that will be relevant for the whole family.
We will follow it up with a fantastic BBQ lunch. We will provide the meat, drinks and paper products. Our church family has been encouraged to bring a dessert and a side. If you are able to come please feel free to bring your favorite side or dessert as well - also a blanket or two.
We hope your family will be able to join ours as we kickoff Super Bowl Sunday in River Trails Park!
We Have A New Home!
After meeting at First Baptist Hurst for several months, River Trails Church has found a new home. We are now meeting at Trinity Christian Church at 440 West Pipeline Road - right across from the Hurst Water Park on Mary.
With our worship service beginning at 6:00PM, we are fortunate to have the building to ourselves.
We’ve been meeting there a few weeks and the spirit in the room has been amazing….we’s love to have you join us at 6 on Sundays!
